The Benevolent Society
of New South Wales has a proud history as the first
non-profit organisation established in Australia, pioneering
many of today’s social services.
With over
fourteen sites across New South Wales, The Benevolent
Society requires flexible and reliable network infrastructure
to allow them to effectively manage their network connectivity,
manageability and efficiency of their business.
CSI
has been working with the Benevolent Society for over
five years and currently provides a fully outsourced
IT Department including supply of all hardware, dedicated
engineers on-site professional services and project
management of their recent large scale migration from
Windows 2000 to Windows 2003 Server Operating System
involving 30 servers over 14 sites used by more than
600 users across NSW. CSI is very proud of our record
in ensuring such large migrations are fully planned
and managed to guarantee no downtime. There has been
a clear improvement in the calibre and reliability of
the IT infrastructure at the Benevolent Society over
the five years CSI has worked with them - particularly
the benefit of having access to the flexible workpool
of dedicated engineers as recommended and sourced from
CSI's specialist staff has made an enormous difference
to the smooth operation of the Benevolent Society's
systems and helped their organisation through their
recent period of significant growth
